INTRA UTERINE DEVICE (IUD)  -
IUD or coil is a small device that is inserted into the woman’s womb by a  trained service provider  It is effective in preventing unwanted  pregnancy and can be used for as long as  ten years. It can be remove when you want to get pregnant.

HIV [Human Immunodeficiency Virus]

HIV or Human Immunodeficiency Virus is the germ that causes AIDS or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. People who have the germ are HIV positive If HIV is not detected earlier through “TEST” it will developed into AIDS
AIDS is the condition in which the body’s defense is no longer strong enough to fight sicknesses.

HOW TO AVOID HIV

 Do not have sex with some body that you don’t know his or her HIV status without using condom
 Do not share sharp objects like shaving sticks, razor blade injection needles with another person
 When providing First Aid avoid direct contact with another person’s blood

- A pregnant woman with HIV may also infect the unborn child either
- During labour OR
- During breast feeding.
- Get tested for HIV immediately you get pregnant
